50 cents says his lifestyle is an illusion

Curtis Jackson whose stage name is 50 cent, appeared in a Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday morning to testify that he isn't as wealthy as his lifestyle makes him appear to be. Forbes estimated Curtis' fortune to be about $155 million in May, Jackson's lawyer said on Tuesday in court that he is worth $4.4 million, which presents a problem because last week he was hit with a $5 million verdict for publishing a sex tape starring Rick Ross' ex-girlfriend.

Jega to receive award

Professor Jega the immediate past chairman of (INEC) is among the three people to receive the Charles T. Manatt Democracy award. He was named by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). According to the IFES President and CEO, Bill Sweeney, Jega is being honoured for his handling ''Nigeria's successful elections in 2015.''
