The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has listed Jega among those to be honoured. The award is in recognition of his successful contribution to the development of Nigeria's electoral process.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by the Head of Media and Publications, NSE, Mr Abdulkadir Aliyu.
According to the statement, the award is scheduled to hold on Thursday in Lagos at the NSE 3rd Quarterly Dinner and Conferment of Fellowship.
