Mr Steve Oronsaye, who was the former Head of Service of the Federation, has been charged to court over fraud. He was appointed in 2009. Oronsaye, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday and was questioned for several hours but was granted administrative bail. He returned to the EFCC custody ahead of the Monday's arraignment.
Oronsaye is to appear before the Justice Kolawole, of the Federal High Court Abuja to answer to charges of corruption bordering on N1.2 billion fraud. Allegedly he is said to be involved in bogus contracts awarded between 2009 to 2010.
