Chelsea football club has signed Asmir Begovic as announced by Chelsea. Asmir use to play for Stoke City. The 28 year old goalkeeper has signed a four year contract and he is the second signing this summer after Ramadel Falcao. Amsir has spent five and half years with Stoke City.
Begovic stated on Chelsea website, '' I am very happy to be joining Chelsea FC. After speaking at length with the manager, i feel like i can develop here and be an important part of this team'. I am looking forward to meeting up with the team on Wednesday for the pre-season tour.''
He will take the vacant number one shirt while Thibaut Courtois will will retain his number 13 shirt.
