The Maiduguri/Damaturu expressway has been blocked. The highway in Damaturu, Yobe State was blocked for fear of attacks by terrorists.
The road was blocked by security operatives following the resurfacing of the terrorists. The Boko Haram sect were sighted on Tuesday evening in Beninsheik Town if Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State. Reports say they were seen in Warsala, the last village in Damaturu.
Travelers and motorists were stranded in the morning on the highway in Yobe State's capital.
