NASS crisis wax stronger

As the APC members in the National Assembly are insisting that  Ekweremadu the Deputy Senate President of Nigeria be removed, will make the crisis last a little longer than we all expect. A reliable source said that the All Progressive Congress would not allow Ekweremadu who is a member of the PDP to remain the Deputy Senate President, the position is  a sensitive one and would tamper with the Buhari administration.

According to the rule, a member of the minority party isn't suppose to be the Deputy Senate President. Therefore the position he is occupying is illegal and must be removed if not the Buhari administration is already dead from the start.

Although sources say Buhari isn't happy with what is happening at both chambers. At the time of filling this report, all efforts made by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara to see Mr President so far have proved abortive. Allegedly, Buhari has been avoiding them because of their anti-party behaviour.

President Muhammadu Buhari had warned the Senate President and the Speaker to support the APC's position on sharing of principal officers, but this has been ignored by both of them.
