Rotimi Amaechi donates $100,000 to the Save OJB fund

The Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amechi has pledged to donate $100,000 to the Help Save OJB fund. The music producer, OJB requires $100,000 to undergo a kidney transplant procedure abroad and for upkeep following that, until he is able to return to work.

On Wednesday night, Muyiwa Oshinuga, aka Nomoreloss, who is head of the fund raising committee, tweeted: “We have on record that the Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has approved the sum of $100,000 to be handed to OJB on Friday.”

The Governor has promised to fulfill the pledge on Friday 5th July. This is welcome news and the Governor's gesture is highly commendable.
