President Jonathan flags off road reconstruction

President Jonathan today flagged off the reconstruction works for the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The road had been in a very bad shape for a very long time now.

Highlights of the event included a disclosure by the President that the works will take 4 years to complete,,,

The 127.8 kilometer road works which was withdrawn from Bi-Courteny Company Limited due to non-performance will now cost N167billion and has been awarded to Julius Berger Plc and Reynold Construction Company.
