More bodies were recovered today after the ocean surge at Kuramo beach. 16 people were reported washed away with the surge but only about 5 bodies have so far been recovered including a baby.
The car pictured below was also damaged as the owner left it at the beach after trying unsuccessfully to move after it got stuck in the sand.

It is a public holiday and alot of people want to hang out at the beach to have fun. Whatever you do, please stay away from all the beaches in Lagos for now. Thank you.
