Journalist brutalized by Lagos State agents

A photo-journalist,  Benedict Iwalaka of Leadership Newspaper was today seriously injured by agents of a security outfit belonging to the Lagos State Government. The photo-journalist along with others from different news agencies were descended on when they were covering the release of corpse of Dana crash victims at the Ikeja General Hospital Mortuary, using bottles and sticks to ward off the media man.

Oh yes! The police were present and watched it all happen.
