30 year-old Serena beat Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska in a compelling three-set 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 to win her 5th Wimbeldon title and 14th grand slam.
This win meant alot to Serena who has being battling with health issues and she had this to say:
"I can't even describe it. I almost didn't make it. A few years ago, you know, I was in the hospital, and now I'm here again. It's so worth it, and I'm so happy."
