After a resurgence of violence in Riyom and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State the State government has imposed a curfew in the affected areas.

This was made known in a statement signed by Rufus Bature, the secretary to the state government on Thursday.
''The curfew starts 6 p.m and ends at 6 a.m''
The Special Task Force in charge of security in Plateau state has confirmed that people have been killed in the past few days but said security would be deployed to the area to protect life and property. They will also restore law and order. (NAN)
