Lagos Government sacks all 788 striking doctors!

The Lagos State governement has sacked the 788 doctors under its payroll. The doctors have been on what the government described as 'illegal' strike for the past 3 weeks protesting the none payment of agreed allowances and dues.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Lagos government before the recent sack order, employed some over 300 new doctors to fill in the vaccum but medical services to the are still largely paralysed.

Hope this issue is resolved positively soon in the interest of the generality of the populace who cannot afford private medical services.
