The acclaimed leader of the Igbo race, Dim Odumegwu Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, Eze Igbo Gburugburu, has begun his final journey home. Several states have held various ceremonies as part of the funeral activities for the late warlord. Enugu and Anambra states have decleared public holidays in his honour, today (and tomorrow for Anambra).

A suspected member of the Odua Peoples Congress known by the pseudonym "Ultimate" on Monday allegedly killed an employee of Etisalat, Chukwuma Eze, in the Ejigbo area of Lagos State during an argument over N10 toll.
