Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) Boss, David Parradang has been suspended by the president. He was suspended on Friday the 21st of August 2015 for reasons yet to be unknown.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Martin Abeshi, will now be in charge of the NIS.
Fear has risen among the staff and management of NIS, over the granting of a Nigerian visa to ISIS chief, Ahmed Al Assir.

Reports say the Nigerian Presidency is embarrassed that a man on the international terror list had obtained a Nigerian visa and was on his was to the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a full investigation into the matter. Ahmed Al Assir, who is wanted in several countries, was said to have been arrested at a Lebanon airport on his way to Nigeria through Egypt.
