The ongoing anti-corruption crusade championed by the Muhammadu Buhari's administration wasn't selective as people are speculating, but its an effort to reduce corruption in Nigeria, the Vice President, Professor Osinbajo stated.

Osinbajo in an interview with news men at the funeral of Elizabeth Adesola Mamora, mother of Senator Olorunimbe Mamora. He also stated that this move isn't only targeted at the former appointees of the former president- Goodluck Jonathan.
'' It is not just about a probe of a past government, that is not what this is about. We are talking about our future, we are saying that we must put in place a clear strategy going forward.'' he said
''It is not just about ensuring that people are made to pay for looting the treasury, our system of justice must be fair to ensure that anybody who does wrong is brought to account.
''We cant allow impunity to continue. So it not about the previous government, its about any form of impunity.''
Osinbajo also stated that the anti-corruption move was a genuine program aimed at sanitizing the country from corruption.
