Boko Haram commander has been caught by troops and he is presently undergoing investigation. According to the director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, the militant was apprehended during an offensive operation conducted by the troops of the 21 brigade in conjunction with elements of 151 Task Force Battalion of 7 Division, around Aulari in Bama.

During the offensive, 178 were rescued from the terrorists which included 101 children, 67 women and 10 men. Colonel Usman said the troops consolidating on their success under operation lafiya dole, had successfully cleared the terrorists' camp in Fadan, Shuwarin, Ngoro, Jidori, Wulari, Dauye and several other locations.
The commander was captured alive and is presently undergoing investigation.
'' The troops morale remains high as they are determined to consolidate on the success achieved so far under operation '' Lafiya Dole'' he said.
