A cook that serves Fr. Michael Tumba at Abuja had the unusual privilege of his State Governor being his bestman at his wedding which took place over the weekend at Our Lady Perpetual Help Cathedral, in Makurdi, Benue State.
Peter Anyiman while expressing his delight said he couldn't have wished for a better wedding and the Benue State Governor/best man said he decided to honour him because of his commitment to his job. Peter Anyiman has served as a cook for a Catholic Priest for over 18 years.
At intervals the Governor would adjust Peter's tie and dab sweat off his face as a typical bestman would do.
Quite an impressive act of humility by the Governor!
