Charly Boy recently released a statement about his cousin who was brutally murdered. His cousin, a big businessman, Emeka Aseme was abducted at Oguta, Imo State by gunmen. Three policemen at the hotel where he was abducted were killed after exchanging gun fire with the gunmen.

 

The sum of N8m was demanded by the abductors as ransom from his family, the money was paid but he was never released. The gunmen later contacted his family and directed them to a location to find him but sadly his mutilated and decomposing body was found. His heart, eyes and genitals were cut off in a babaric way.

 

One of the suspects who sustained gun shot injuries during the abduction had gone to a hospital for treatment and was arrested. This led to 4 other arrests in connection with the killing.

 

 I really pray the guilty ones are made to answer for their crime, no human being should do this to another, not for any reason at all.

How can a man be so callous to his fellow man to the extent of removing different parts of his body until he finally gave up? This is unheard of. What is this country turning to? What era is this? As far as I know, no evil doer will go unpunished. Every evil committed by man to man must surely be redressed, if not now, certainly later, if not by man, then by God, for the victory of evil over good is temporary. We are waiting for the outcome of police investigation. After then, we will take the campaign to Oguta. We must agitate for peace. The peace that has eluded us must be returned. We are not known for this.”
