Farouk Lawan and Boniface Enemalo remanded in Kuje Prison





Farouk Lawan, former Chairman of the House of Representatives Adhoc Committee on Fuel Subsidy and Boniface Enemalo, former Secretary of the committee have been remanded in prison by an Abuja High Court for allegedly collecting a bribe of $620, 000 from the Chairman of Zenon Oil, Femi Otedola.

At the trial today, both men represented Rickey Tarfa and Mike Ozhekome, both senior advocates of Nigeria, pleaded not guilty to the charges and were remanded to Kuje Prison pending when the court rules on their bail application. The court was adjourned till February 8th, 2013.
