Aruma Oteh, suspended DG SEC resumes today

The embattled Director General of Security & Exchange Commission, Ms Aruma Oteh resumed work today having being recalled from a suspension placed by the board of the commission a while ago.

An audit set up by the government cleared her of wrong doing over the management of SEC.

Some staff members also protested and carried placards when it was announced last week that the government had recalled her from suspension. This prompted the deployment of heavily armed security operatives at the commission's headquarters.

She resumed work today and held a meeting with senior staff members of the commission at Abuja.
