There have been several co-ordinated car bombs that have hit the Christian community in Zaria this morning. 2 churches have been confirmed attacked, the Christ the King Catholic Church and ECWA. There are reports of several casualties.
As at the time of this report, there is serious gun battle going on between the security forces and the attackers in the area. The security forces are also contending with the angry mob that has instantaneously gathered in protest to these incessant bombings. They are being stopped from taking the law into their own hands.
There are reports of a 3rd church yet to be cnfirmed.
There have been bombs attacks at different churches in northern Nigeria for 3 consecutive sundays now.
