The Minister of Defence, Brigadier-General Muhammad Mansur Dan-Ali (rtd), has promised to make provision for a better welfare for families of fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate price while protecting Nigeria.

The new Defence Minister made the promise on Friday at a press conference in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, ahead of the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day which would be held in January.
General Dan-Ali noted that the Federal Government would continue to support the families of the fallen heroes.
He also assured the military of governments commitment to catering to the needs of the injured and those who have retired from active service from the Nigerian Armed Forces.
