Nigeria drops in FIFA rankings





Based on the recent FIFA ranking, Nigeria's Super Eagles now occupy the 57th position. It has fallen 14 places based on the last ranking. The latest ranking was released by the world football governing body on Thursday.

With the latest ranking, Nigeria, three time African champion, now occupy the 10th position on the continent. Algeria remain the highest ranked team in Africa and 19th in the world while Egypt, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Ghana, Congo, Cameroon, Senegal and Cape Verde are all above Nigeria.

Argentina is now the new top team on the FIFA/coca-cola world ranking.
