Houseboy who killed his boss sentenced to death

David Idah, 26 years old and was a houseboy to a retired Senior Magistrate, Mrs Olufunmilayo Timeyin. The retired Chief magistrate was 65 years old. He beheaded her at her on the 28th of March at her home in Laderin estate in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

He was sentenced to death in Ogun State High Court judge after finding him guilty of murder

''Having been found guilty on a one count of unlawful killing, you are hereby sentenced to death by hanging.'' Justice Adiodun Akinyemi said. 

David who hails from Benue State, scaled the fence and deactivate the security system inside the building and laid siege within the premises before hacking the woman to death. He was employed two months before the incident,but was sent packing two weeks before the killing for stealing his boss' valuables which lncludes phones and jewelries which led to his arrest but was released on his boss' orders.

He scaled the fence after killing his boss and hid in a bush behind the house to avoid being caught. It was one of the sons of the later Chief Magistrate, Olumide, who heard the cries of the mum and raised alarm. The residents alerted men of the Ogun State vigilante Service.

He was found naked in the bush behind the house where he was hiding and the Police arrested him. The corpse of the Chief Magistrate  was deposited at the mortuary.
