Cory Monteith: Glee star died of overdose of heroin and alcohol

The Canadian authorities have released a post-mortem report on the Glee star actor, Cory. The cause of death is stated as 'a mixed-drug toxicity involving heroin and alcohol'. It also stated that based on the evidence found at the scene where he died, that he death was unlikely to be intentional

"It should be noted that at this point there is no evidence to suggest Mr. Monteith's death was anything other than a most-tragic accident," the Coroners Service said and Police have also ruled out foul play.

Police say evidence pointed to an overdose and to him being alone when the substances were consumed and that it was too early to state if he could have been a victim of a 'bad-batch of heroin'
