IG of Police promotes 3 officers on the Cynthia Osokogu's murder investigation
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar elevated two police sergeants, Frank Okorobon and Patience Biokoro, who played a major role in arresting the suspected killers of Cynathia Osokogu to the rank of Inspectors. While Inspector, Edo Joseph, is to proceed on a course after which he will be promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (SP).
The three police officers are part of seven police officers who were recognised by the National Orientation Agency at the "Civic Recognition Award’’ organised by the agency.
I personally hope this will encourage other police officers to really investigate crime rather than some of the shabby investigation that some of them carry out. Hard work pays officers!
