A promising man has had his life cut short while trying out a new charm called 'odeshi' prepared by a native doctor.

A young Nigerian man has reportedly lost his life after being shot while testing a bulletproof charm.
According to Doctor Ibezim Benjamin Chidi of Ibezim group hospital
and maternity in Isiala Mbano, the deceased had gone to a native doctor
for (odeshi) charm.
The native doctor prepared the charm and gave it to him. He
excitedly went and called his friend to test the efficacy of the charm
with a dane gun.
He reportedly asked the friend to fire the Dane gun at him. The friend obliged and shot him, killing him instantly.
The friend brought him to the hospital dead on arrival. The friend has reportedly been arrested and is now in police custody.
