EFCC to arraign Lamido, Ohakim and Nyako




The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 3 former governor over allegations of corruptions and money laundering. The EFCC is alleging that while these former governors were in office, they siphoned money and diverted funds meant for the state.

The three former governors are Mr. Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, Mr. Ikedi Ohakim of Imo State and Admiral Muritala Nyako of Adamawa State. 

Former governors Nyako and Lamido were arrested with their sons. Admiral Nyako and Mr. Ohakim will be arraigned in Abuja on Wednesday (today), while Mr. Lamido and his sons are to be arraigned on Thursday in Kano State.
