Joshua Iginla, the Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly in Kubwa who celebrated his birthday recently gave out 22 cars and millions of naira. The event took place at the church during service, the pastor celebrated his birthday with his wife.
While presenting the cars to the beneficiaries, the urged the wealthy in the society to assist the less privileged because they could be important people tomorrow, among the the cars were 10 SUV cars. Pastor Joshua has said to taste poverty before so he knew what it felt like. He was quoted saying...
''My birthday is all about giving to the needy. what i do here is just 10%
He also said
" I have schools where we have been assisting the handicapped and the physically-challenged students irrespective of their religions. Gospel is practical, not spiritual''
Iginla said this is the 3rd time he giving out cars without leaving any one for himself. Benue State Governor Mr. Samuel Ortom who unveiled the books commended Iginla for this humility and hard work in writing books. Ortom recalled that he was school drop out and later a motor park tout in Gboko, said that God made him Governor of Benue State in spite of the "political persecution'' he suffered.''
''At this time in my country's history that there is dearth of leadership i commit myself to lead with fear of God that will translate to equity, intergrity and justice and fairness. I will strive to unite the people of this country.''
The occasion was well attended. A few are Senator Grace Bent, Effiong Bob, Onyeka Onwenu, Chris Morgan and a host of others. 16 Nollywood actors were also in attendance were Fathia Balogun, Zack Orji, Francis Duru and Alex Usifo, 6 of them benefited from the gesture.
