More trouble for (Dis)Hon. Lawan Farouk as the one person he claimed he handed over to the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Financial Crimes Jagaba Adams as Jagaba has denied receiving the alleged $620,000 bribe money. Continue to read part of the letter Jagaba wrote to the Speaker Tambuwal to clear his name.
"Re: Investigation activities: Request for handing over of exhibits in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy and taking gratification to prevent the course of justice. I wish to state that there was never a time I was in possession of $620,000 or any other exhibits in my personal or official capacity as chairman of the House Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Financial Crimes."
The IG had written a letter to the House asking that the $620,000 be handed over and Tambuwal simply forwarded the letter to Jagaba who replied with the above.
This is clearly an 'On Your Own' signal to Lawan Farouk
