Moshood Abiola University (UNILAG) shut for 2 weeks; students block 3rd Mainland Bridge!

Following continuing protests by the students over  the change of name of UNILAG by the government, the university has been shut down by the leadership of the institution.

At the moment, hundreds of the students have blocked both sides of the 3rd Mainland Bridge in continuation of their protest over the name change (see more photos).


Various other groups including ASUU and Alumni are also kicking against the change of name and are threatening legal actions as well.
